| Alot of fans were skeptical when Manchester City were taken over and became the richest club in the world but couldn't be blamed for becoming optimistic as success and big names became more frequent but that has all came crashing to a halt today. UEFA have stripped Khaldoon Al Mubarak of ownership of Manchester City for several breaches of financial fair play rules and other regulations. City were constantly spending more than they were making and combined with shady sponsorship deals and third party ownership of players UEFA have demanded City be sanctioned. The FA have announced Manchester City will be dropped to the bottom of the football league into League 2 and the highest placed relegated teams from last season will all move back up. City have been placed into the hands of administrators who will look to find a buyer as quickly as possible but what looked like a bright future is now very dark. | |
